You can change the design of each of the bars individually. Simply select the sub section corresponding to the bar you want to change and you get a lot of different options to customise the design of the bar. All changes you do, will have an immediate effect on the bar. Please note that these settings are independent of the selected nkRebuff set. The design sections are globally for all sets.

If you want to change the design of the bars it's recommended to activate the option 'show bars during config.' in the generic sub section. This will draw the bars while the configuration is open. However it will only draw the bars where currently activities are configured to show up. If for example for your current set no debuff on your target is configured, that bar will not show up.

Basic settings

These settings specify the behaviour of the bar. If you want the bars to be 'click-through' you'd need to deactivat the settings 'show tooltip' and 'left click to hide'.

Setting Description
# icons Each bar is limited to a preset number of icons. If the preset number of icons is less than the number of items to be shown on a single bar, the additional ones will not be shown. The default of 7 will work in most situations.
show if less than # secs This setting defines the number of seconds the remaining time of an item has to be before it will show up on the bar.
show tooltip Disable this option if you don't need the mouseover tooltip of the icons.
left click to hide Disable this option if you don't need the ability to temporary hide icons.

Design

These settings specify the look of the bar.

Setting Description
# scale You can change the scale of the bar to make it smaller or larger.
orientation This option defines who the icons will be drawn on the bar. Available settings are:
  • left
  • right
  • vertical
  • fixed left to right

The default is centred which means the icons will be drawn from the middle outwards. Left and right will draw the icons from that side of the bar to the other. Vertical means that the bar will be switched to a vertical orientation and icons will be drawn from top down.

This setting is for players who want icons to be always drawn at the same position. Fixed left to right will draw the icons from left to right but will give each icon a fixed position. So make sure that the number of icons setting is equal to the number items you want to track.

fade in This option works together with the 'show if less than # secs.' option. As soon as the configured remaining time is reached this option will start to slowly fade in the icon until it reaches full visibility once the remaining time reaches 0. The maximum visibility is defined by transparency.
transparency Use this setting if you want to change the transparency of the icons.
border This option is all about personal taste. I prefer a border around icons as I think that just looks better. Using this setting you can defined if nkRebuff should draw a border around icons and if so how thick it should be. Available options are:
  • no border
  • thin border
  • middle border
  • thick border
border color If you choose to display a border using the above setting, you can specify the color of the border using this option.
counter color If the remaining time of an item is less than the pre-configured time, a counter will show up on the icon informing you about the exact remaining time. Using this option you can change the colour of the counter.
positioning This setting defines where the counter is placed on the icon. You can choose from:
  • centered
  • inner left top
  • inner left bottom
  • inner right top
  • inner right bottom
  • outer left top
  • outer left bottom
  • outer right top
  • outer right bottom

Outter simply means outside the icon and inner means inside.

counter font size You can specify which font size to use for the counter display using this setting.
stack color If an item is stacked nkRebuff will show the stack size on the icon. Using this setting you can define the color to use.
